New SuperChis v2 revision
It looks like SuperChis will soon get a new revision.
The cartridge's developer, ChisBread, has confirmed that a prototype of the new version already exists.

According to him, it is still intended to be a budget flash cartridge, but now with features that many inexpensive options have been missing: RTC and rumble.
This is especially interesting given how well the current SuperChis has turned out. It has essentially become the affordable cartridge people had long wanted as a SuperCard replacement: no slowdowns, good compatibility, and a reasonable price. It even works with the GameBox, not to mention other clones.
Very little is known about the new version so far. ChisBread has only confirmed that the prototype exists and shown a photo. The cartridge has a transparent shell, and there is a battery on the PCB, which fits with the announced RTC support.
It is too early to talk about exact specifications, price, or release date. But the direction looks promising. If ChisBread really releases an affordable cartridge with RTC and rumble, it could make the SuperChis lineup even stronger.
We'll keep watching for updates.
