Game Boy Advance SP American Limited Editions
Undoubtedly, the American market is very important for Nintendo. It is very large and profitable for doing business. Nintendo of Japan established a new company in America, Nintendo of America, headquartered in Redmond, Washington.
Frankly speaking, among all regions, America had the worst limited edition consoles. Mostly they were two-tone or just single-color, which is very strange considering how rich this market was. If we remove all consoles that were released in all regions, remove consoles from Pokémon Centers, and remove two-tone consoles, only two consoles remain: "Who Are You?" and "Sponge Bob". The situation was worse, perhaps, only in Europe.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to establish the exact chronological order of console releases.
Game Boy Advance SP Classic NES
This was the AGS-001 version. Released in honor of the NES console.

Game Boy Advance SP Who Are You?
This console was released in honor of Nintendo's advertising campaign in America, which was called "Who Are You?". This campaign ran from 2002 to 2005. And in 2004, the Game Boy Advance SP console with the "Who Are You?" logo appeared on the shelves of Walmart stores.

Game Boy Advance SP SpongeBob
Despite what is written on Wikipedia, this console was not released in 2004. The GBA SP AGS-101 models (and this is exactly that) appeared only at the end of 2005, and most likely this model appeared on sale at least in 2006. It was sold in Toys "R" US stores.

Game Boy Advance SP Pikachu
Most consoles related to Pokémon were sold exclusively in Pokémon Centers, but there was one exception. The Game Boy Advance SP Pikachu console was sold in Toys "R" US stores. Like the GBA SP SpongeBob, the model of this console was AGS-101, which means it was released no earlier than September 2005.

Game Boy Advance SP Tribal
Perhaps the most common limited edition Game Boy Advance SP model. It was released in all regions and apparently in large quantities, so its value is not very high.

Game Boy Advance SP Platinum/Onyx
Perhaps the strangest limited edition Game Boy Advance SP. Nintendo designers did a great job and combined the cases from two consoles: black and silver. I hope they didn't overwork...

Game Boy Advance SP Lime/Orange
I really like the color combination in this console, even though Nintendo designers didn't put much effort into it.

Game Boy Advance SP Lime
All consoles from now on, despite being limited editions, are just single-color. Like, for example, this lime-colored one. It was sold exclusively in Target stores. The console came with the game Donkey Kong Country.

Game Boy Advance SP Gold
Another single-color limited edition console. It came in gold and was bundled with the game Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3.

Game Boy Advance SP Pearl White
This console has a very funny box, on the front it says that the game Metroid Zero Mission is included, but on the back it says that this game is sold separately.

Game Boy Advance SP Surf Blue
This console is notable because in Europe it is a regular color, but the American version is already a limited edition.
