WHAT IS A FLASH CARTRIDGE?
Essentially, a Flash cartridge is a hard drive for the Game Boy Advance. You can store your games, programs, or other data on it. You can launch games from it and use it for both piracy and regular work.
Current Flash cartridges as of 2025 (meaning they can be bought new right now, for example, on Aliexpress).
For Game Boy (Pocket, Light, Color): EZ-Flash Junior
For Game Boy Advance (SP and Micro):
EZ-Flash Definitive Edition, EZ-Flash Omega, EZ-Flash Air, ChisFlash
Supercard.
The EZ-Flash Omega has been discontinued. This flash cartridge has been replaced by the EZ-Flash Air.
For Nintendo DS (DS Lite, DSi, DSi XL): R4, EZ-Flash Parallel.
